This conference brings together the polio survivors from European countries to exchange their experiences among each other and with health care providers and researchers. The conference also warmly welcomes polio survivors from other continents.

Connecting polio survivors from different nations aims to empower polio survivors to raise the awareness that their number in Europe and world wide is large and that many are in need of adequate care and societal support to maintain or improve their participation.
